World’s Most Stubborn Man Spends $20,000 Trying to Fight a $250 Ticket

Getting a speeding ticket isn't anything we ever want. Everything about it is a hassle and on top of that, it can waste a lot of your time and money. Sometimes, it's best to just give in, pay the fine, and move on instead of dealing with the complications of trying to fight the ticket.

But one man, who could now be dubbed the "world's most stubborn man" isn't giving up without a fight. He will go at literally any cost to fight his speeding ticket because he stands firmly that he didn't do anything wrong.

Metro reports that a man from Australia was given a speeding ticket in 2012 and has since spent $20,000 trying to fight it! The crazy part is that the speeding ticket was only a $250 fine!

The man in question, whom is originally from Iraq, says that:

...‘in Iraq I couldn’t stand up to speak out, but here you can when you don’t think it’s right, so why wouldn’t you?’

Well, maybe because it's costing you a crap ton more to fight the ticket than to actually just pay for it!

He is insistent that he was not speeding and he will take the issue to Australia's highest court if he has to. Cops say they clocked him going 55mph in a 37mph zone.
