Heavy rains this weekend in West Michigan, led officials at Western Michigan University to postpone Saturday’s Homecoming game until Sunday afternoon.

According to the WMU Football Twitter account, they had to pump over 1 million gallons of water off the field for the game to happen; which is crazy since up until the rain Saturday, we had been in a bit of a drought.

The Homecoming game happened Sunday afternoon with Akron barely beating the Broncos 14-13.
