Wide World Of Overreaction: Woman Maces Man At Movie Theater

We live in a world where we overreact to EVERYTHING. Everyone seems to be offended by everything, add in our dwindling patience and we have the Wild World Of Overreaction.

So why did the woman mace the man?

Well, because he asked her to turn off her phone at a movie! Why wouldn't you mace someone who asks you to stop being rude?

It happened at the Chinese 6 theater in Hollywood. Witnesses say the man repeatedly told the woman to turn off her phone about 5 minutes into the movie.

When the woman refused, the man reached over the seat and tapped her on the shoulder, and told her she needed to turn it off. The woman then stood up and sprayed him in the face with mace.

The man rushed out of the theater with his girlfriend, the woman then sat back down to enjoy the movie, soon after security came in a removed the woman.
