Why Paint Cats? [VIDEO]

You've seen dogs get dressed up for holidays and probably even seen some cats do the same.  But have you ever seen a painted cat?  At first glance I thought this is animal abuse, but after reading into it I came to find that the paints were vegetable oil based and non toxic.  Although, I would like to know how they got these cats to sit still for long enough to paint them...
