Where does your favorite State rank?

Buzzfeed came out with a list of all 50 states and their rankings. For some reason you are able to re-rank this list but I tried it and it didn't work, you are more than welcome to try it. Michigan is currently number 2 on this list but there is no explanation why and New York is number one on the list. Coming in last on the list is Missouri.
