What’s in the Box at ArtPrize Seven? [Video]

Take a walk along the Grand River at Sixth Street Bridge Park during ArtPrize and one entry is sure to grab your eye, Copy Culture's "Minimalist Division".

"Minimalist Division" is a large mirrored cube which allows visitors to walk inside.

Copy Culture is Taryn Cassella and Anna Martinez, both are 2013 graduates of Herron School of Art and Design. They want to "gauge the reaction participants will have to anticlimactic art."

"Minimalist Division" was a finalist at ArtPrize Pitch Night in Indianapolis, but did not win.

ArtPrize Pitch Night helps artists secure a spot at ArtPrize and provides financial support. Pitch Night events were held in Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Durham.
