Maybe JAMIE FOXX isn’t sampling TOM CRUISE’S sloppy seconds after all.  But it’s not for lack of trying.

At that party in the Hamptons last weekend, the two of them WERE working up a sweat on the dance floor.  But apparently, Jamie over-estimated his mojo.

A source says, quote, “They danced, and after a hug he grabbed her butt and tried to seal the deal.  She was flattered, but not interested.”

TRICIA HELFER showed some MAJOR cleavage at the “Riddick” premiere.  (Here are the pics.)

The Inventor of the Foam Finger Says Miley Cyrus “Degraded It”

STEVE CHMELAR, the inventor of the foam finger, doesn’t approve of how Miley used it at the “VMAs”.  He says, quote, “I would say that it certainly misrepresented its intent to encourage team support.  She took an honorable icon that is seen in sporting venues everywhere and degraded it.”  However, he thinks the foam finger will endure . . . and he hopes Miley will do the same.
