Brad Pitt's "Fury" is in Theaters This Weekend

Brad Pitt leads a five-man tank crew on a mission behind enemy lines in the final days of World War Two.  Fury is the name of his tank, which is written across the main turret.

Shia LaBeouf plays his gunner, Michael Pena is their driver, Jon Bernthal from "The Walking Dead" is the loader, and "Percy Jackson's" star Logan Lerman is their new assistant gunner, an inexperienced private assigned to replace a fallen crewmember.

The movie's pretty violent and, as we heard earlier, some of Shia LaBeouf's injuries were supposedly self-inflicted to add to the realism.  That includes cutting up his face with a knife, and having the dentist remove one of his teeth.

Scott Eastwood is also in it as the guy Brad and Shia get after for spitting chewing tobacco on the back of their tank.  Jason Isaac plays the company commander.

One of the pivotal scenes toward the end of the movie has their Sherman tank going up against a Tiger tank alone . . . which was practically a suicide mission since the German tank was so much stronger than an American tank that it usually took four or five Shermans just to take out one Tiger.

2.  "The Best of Me"  (PG-13)  Trailer

James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan play high school sweethearts who are reunited when they return to their hometown two decades later for a funeral.  Their feelings for each other are still just as strong . . . but the bad news is she's married now.

Their younger selves are 19 year old Liana Liberato and Australian actor Luke Bracey . . . the guy who plays Johnny Utah in next year's "Point Break" remake.

It's the latest movie to be based on a book by Nicholas Sparks, the guy who wrote "The Notebook".  Believe it or not, this is actually the NINTH movie of his that your girlfriend's gonna drag you to see . . . and he's got two more on the way.

An animated movie starring Diego Luna and Channing Tatum as two best friends competing for the love of Zoe Saldana.

But when a pair of immortals wager on the outcome of their love triangle, one of the skeletal spirits CHEATS to keep from losing.  So Diego ends up dead . . . and forced to fight his way back to the land of the living to reunite with the woman he loves.

Christina Applegate is the narrator, and the rest of the voice cast includes Ron Perlman, Danny Trejo, Cheech Marin, and fluffy comedian Gabriel Iglesias.

4.  "Birdman"  (R)  Trailer

Michael Keaton stars in this dark comedy as a washed up actor desperately trying to distance himself from the Birdman superhero character he played in the '90s . . . while still hearing the voice of that character in the back of his mind.

Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, and Emma Stone are also in it.

(The international trailer gives a lot better idea of what to expect, but be very CAREFUL with that one since there's lots of profanity in it.  Check that out here.)

5.  And now, some limited releases you may or may not care about:

"Camp X-Ray" stars Kristen Stewart as a soldier assigned to Guantanamo Bay, who forms an unlikely friendship with one of the detainees she's guarding.  (Trailer)
