Wendy’s Top 10 Songs Of 2013 – No. 6: Sara Bareilles’ ‘Brave’ [Video]

Sara Bareilles' latest song, "Brave" was the first song this year that really spoke to me. In fact, it spoke to a lot of people. I have a friend who, after listening to the song, got the word "brave" tattooed right above his heart.

"Brave" served as a bit of an anthem for a lot of people in 2013. 

The song is a bit of an anthem for those of us who are generally a little less brave in our every day lives. It encourages you to show people "how big your brave is", which could be interpreted as dirty, but I'm pretty sure that's not how Bareilles intended it to be interpreted.
