Wendy’s Top 10 Songs Of 2012 – #7 – “Little Talks”
One of the bands that popped up on my radar this year was Of Monsters & Men. This Icelandic band quickly became one of my favorite artists of the year. Their debut single, "Little Talks" is catchy, well written, and lands at number 8 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012.
Now, the video itself is a little bit weird, but the combination of drums, guitars, brass instruments, and their voices makes the song great.
Of Monsters and Men kind of paved the way for "indie" bands making their way on to the airwaves this year, and I have to say that I really enjoy the fact that popular music is moving in this direction.
