It's that time of the week again. The time when I fall in love with an awesome animal from Humane Society of West Michigan and want to bring it home with me and love it forever. Yup, it's time again for Wendy's Pet Of The Week.

Today, "Tippi" visited the studios, and what an adorable little dog she is.  She's 3 years-old and is looking to find her forever home. If you have kids, they should be a bit older since little ones tend to pull and chase and that wouldn't be good for Tippi.

Jen brought Tippi in and also mentioned the "Parade of Paws" this weekend.  It is a collaboration of the Humane Society, Vicky's Pet Connection, Kent County Animal Shelter, C-Snip, Carol'sFerals, and Crash's Landing.  Going on this Thursday, August 9th through Saturday, August 11th, you'll get discounts on adoption fees, retail items, have educational seminars, and extended hours at each location.  Be sure to pick up a punch card at any location, visit at least 3 locations, have it punched, and you'll be entered into a drawing for great prizes.

The Humane Society will also be out this Sunday from 10am until 2pm at our event The World's Largest Dogwash to benefit Gilda's Club Grand Rapids with some of their furry friends, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

As always, you can find out more information through their web site, Humane Society of West Michigan, and by calling 616-453-8900.
