I watched the Super Bowl last night. In fact, I feel like everyone I know was watching the Super Bowl last night. As a football fan, I appreciated a well-played, evenly-matched game (until the Seahawks' coach got that final play TOTALLY wrong and screwed everything up), and as a snarky person on the Internet, I loved the commercials and the halftime show.

Here are some of my thoughts on the game, the commercials, and the halftime show via my Twitter account:

Early on in the day, I talked about who I thought would ultimately win the game. I was wrong.

The game started out kind of slow, so I spent most of the beginning of it talking about the commercials. I wasn't really sure what the Camry folks were getting at:

That Budweiser commercial with the puppy and the horses really touched me:

A friend of mine shared his thoughts on avocados from Mexico:

Oh, then something happened in the game that I thought was noteworthy:

And I questioned the verbiage used by some of the commentators:

The "No More" commercial seemed to anger and depress many of the people in my Twitter feed and my newsfeed on Facebook, so I decided to chime in on the matter:

And then... Katy Perry took to the stage:

Missy Elliot joined in, and confused teenagers across the country. I, on the other hand, was thrilled!

I had some parting thoughts on the halftime show as a whole:

And then the game started up again, but I didn't have much to say about it. The commercials, on the other hand, still gave me a lot to talk about:

And the commentators continued to say stupid things:

And then the game came to that surprising end, and I had to wrap up my evening in a flurry of tweets and retweets:
