Wendy Donates Her Hair to Wigs for Kids [Photo/Video]

So, on a whim on Sunday, I decided to attend an event and chop off eight inches of hair to donate to the organization Wigs for Kids.

I did it at the Locks for Rock/Wigs for Kids Challenge, organized by local musician Jason Eller. 

Now, this isn't the first time that I've donated my hair. Back in November of 2013, I chopped off eleven inches of hair. So, I knew what was coming. It didn't make it any less terrifying.

Initially, I thought I was going to be able to donate ten inches of hair this time around. After some measuring, my stylist informed me that that would leave me with extremely short hair (I know, it's hair, and it grows back, but I didn't want to go THAT short.)
