Over the weekend, Americans across the country celebrated Independence Day. Here in Grand Rapids, many celebrated at the Amway Family Fireworks. In other cities around the country, the celebrated in a similar fashion. And in Philadelphia, there was a Roots concert during with the mayor, Michael Nutter, joined them on stage and absolutely nailed "Rapper's Delight".

I'm super impressed.

The 58-year-old mayor of the City of Brotherly Love rapped a version that was full of more enthusiasm than we've seen from Brian Williams, or even the granny from The Wedding Singer.

Plus, you know, his name is Michael Nutter, which amuses all of our inner 12-year-olds.
