Planning to decorate your house for Halloween this year?  Forget decorations and fog machines.

Why not take it a step further?

This year, purchase a part of a haunted hotel and a bring scary to a whole new level.

The Osceola Inn is in Reed City, Michigan.  It was built in 1881 and is thought to be haunted by many. The hotel is closing and on Wednesday, August 28, many items from the hotel will be up for auction. WZZM13.com has more:

More than 400 items will be up for auction, ranging from the more practical, like furniture, to some rarer finds including suits of armor, antique bar equipment, and a vintage piano and organ.

"Since the building has been around for so long, a lot of those items people know are in there," said Orbitbid's Amanda Helmer. "They may have seen [them] when they ate at the restaurant, or when they were staying in the hotel. A lot of them are vintage and very unique."

Good luck!
