Walk With Me at John Ball Zoo tonight to help raise funds for the Easter Seals!

I'll be co-leading the annual two mile walk that runs up, down, through and around John Ball Zoo with Michelle DeSelms of WXMI Fox 17 starting at 5 o'clock when registration begins!

What does the Easter Seals do for the community, you ask?  Your heart is going to melt a little when I share just how wonderful an organization this is and those who have volunteered through the years to keep it afloat.
Easter Seals serves kids and families who are walking through life with autism, Down's Syndrome or cerebral palsy
According to information Denise Durkee, who is the Director of West Michigan Therapy Center in Grand Rapids and an Easter Seals event coordinator, shared with me -- every 20 minutes a child is diagnosed with autism.  More than half-a-million Americans have some degree of cerebral palsy and over 400,000 people are living with Down Syndrome.
There are real needs in West Michigan and you can help out just by showing up tonight to Walk With Me!  Please consider getting registered to participate at John Ball Zoo starting at 5p.m.
