Vidal Sassoon, The ‘Founder Of Hairdressing’, Dead At 84
Vidal Sassoon, the man known to many as the "founder of hairdressing" was found dead in his Mulholland Drive home; authorities told the LA Times. It is being said that he died from a "unspecified illness".
Last year, Sassoon was reportedly fighting leukemia, and in 20098 he was diagnosed with blood cancer.
He is credited with creating the bob haircut and he launched a sprawling network of salons around the world. He also created a line of hair care products that carried the slogan, "If you don't look good, we don't look good".
Sassoon is survived by his fourth wife Ronnie. He had four children.
