They say that the dog is man's best friend. Well the program Warriors and Wolves would probably tell you otherwise.

Lockwood Animal Rescue Center in Lockwood Valley, CA have rescued wolves from such situations as being on chains in Alaska to a backyard breeder in San Diego. They now have forty animals at their facility. Veterans can go there to get work or go there for a support group, but they also can get therapy from wolves. An unconventional way of getting therapy, different from the normal treatment or medication.

A wolf will pick a veteran and never show the same sort of affection to anyone else that they show to the veteran they picked. For veterans who have a difficult time dealing with the things they can't unsee or undo from when they were serving, finding a companion in a wolf is a way to help them feel happy and be able to sleep better.

In this case wolf is man's best friend. You can check out the video about the facility and wolf therapy for veterans below.
