This would be the scariest thing ever!  You go out to the car int the morning to go to work and there’s a black bear sitting in your car!

That’s what happened in Jefferson County Colorado, which is just west of Denver.  Deputies were called out to a cabin where a bear had locked himself in a Subaru.  There were no broken windows and the door handles don’t lift up, but somehow the bear had crawled inside, shut the doors behind him and couldn’t get out.

When deputies arrived, they realized the bear had really tore up the inside of the car making the doors harder to open.  When they used the key fob to open the rear hatch, the hatch got stuck.  So one of the deputies opened the hatch manually, while the other had his back with a loaded shotgun.  Fortunately for everyone, once the hatch opened, the bear only wanted back in the wood and didn’t care at all about the deputies.
