It was a very rainy June for most of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Some areas set record highs and those big totals are paying off for fans of the Upper Peninsula's many waterfalls.

Menominee saw over 10 inches of rain in June to lead the way. Munising and other areas near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore saw over six inches of rain during June.

I had a chance to see some Upper Peninsula waterfalls in late June after some of the hardest storms came through. You'll find a few well-known waterfalls in the video along with some that don't get quite as much attention. All were running strong.

One of the most impressive was Wagner Falls which was spraying a heavy mist towards onlookers from far away including where I was standing when I shot the video. Another favorite was Tannery Falls, harder to get to than many, but worth the effort.
