You know that show "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" Well, it turns out it isn't just a clever premise for the TV show, it's a real-life struggle for many parents.

A new study has found that two out of three parents say they can't help their kid with homework because it's too hard.

Half of the parents surveyed admitted to using Google for help without their kid knowing. And one-third of them are worried that their kids' teachers are judging them over the quality of their kids' homework.

The study also found the 10 school subjects parents struggle with the most:

  • Algebra
  • Fractions
  • Trigonometry
  • The Pythagorean theorem
  • Ratios
  • Roman history
  • Long division
  • Civil War history
  • The periodic table of elements
  • And the formation of atoms, protons, and neutrons.

I'll be honest, I believe every word of this. I recently started playing "Trivia Crack" and quickly learned that I didn't retain any knowledge when it comes to History or Geography.
