Traverse City Mall Shut Down After Body Found Inside
A body was found in the Grand Traverse Mall in Traverse City Tuesday morning, causing the mall to announce that they would not open for the day. Police are calling the death of the man found inside suspicious.
The Sheriff's Department has taped off the scene where the man (who was between 60 and 70 years old) was found dead in the food court area.
The death occurred sometime after closing hours Monday and when the body was discovered Tuesday morning.
The mall is closed until further notice, the the exception of a few outer stores like JC Penney, Target and Macy's.
