The North Manitou Shoal Lighthouse is for sale. For a mere 10gs, you can bid on the property and own your own damn lighthouse.

Here's five things you could do with it if you buy it.

The lighthouse is located off the coast of Leland in northern Lake Michigan. The property is in rough shape, and I'm not sure they'll even get the minimum for it, but with a little paint, and some love, you could make it work.

If you miss out on this bad boy, fear not, for the GSA is auctioning off four lighthouses in Michigan.

Here's what you can do with them, if you get one:

1. Start an off shore pirate radio station. Yup, just like in the movie Pirate Radio, you could blast some rad tunes to the music starved populaces along the Lake Michigan coastline. Wattage is unlimited when you're off shore, so crank that transmitter and play some Clash over and over again. On a clear day, you can reach Milwaukee.

2. Start your own country and declare war on the Leelanau Peninsula. Those uppity folks have been annoying us for years with their wineries and shops of highly priced knick knacks. Shell them with artillery.

3. Get CBS to film a season of Survivor there. Seriously, you think tensions run high when people are on an island together? Try surviving in the dead of winter in the middle of a Great Lake with less than 6000 square feet to move around on.

4. Create a unique bed and breakfast. Sure the long kayak out there may kill the mood, but what's more romantic than spending time alone with your loved one in a lighthouse? Plus if things go south, the Lake is a great place to dump a body. (I'm kidding, you know that don't you?)

5. Throw the most kick ass party of all time! Chopper in 400 of your closest friends with 30 kegs of Oberon and hire 3 Doors Down to perform. (It's only 150k!!) You can jump into the Lake, go water skiing or tubing and catch fish for dinner! And the closest neighbor is ten miles away, so no one's calling the cops.
