Our warm spring has lead to early tulips, but it's nothing the experts in Holland can't handle.  Tulips will be blooming, but that's just one of many reasons to visit.  Prepare to bring the whole family to Holland, May 5 - May 12.

It's not difficult to find something for everyone to enjoy at Tulip Time.  The whole festival is family friendly, but there are a few events geared more towards kids.  We've highlighted some of those to help you make plans for Tulip Time.

FIREWORKS: Saturday, May 5 at 6:30.  The fireworks celebration opens at 6:30pm with live music.  Fireworks are at dusk.  Location is 10th Street and Van Raalte Avenue.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER DUTCH DANCE: Sunday, May 6 at 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Central Avenue between 10th and 12th.  Get more info here.

PARADES: There are 3 parades!  The People's Parade on Wednesday, May 9 at 2:00pm.  The Children's Parade on Thursday, May 10 at 2:00pm.  The Music Parade on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00pm.  All three parades are full of fun and tradition.  See parade routes and more.

MEIJER CHILDREN'S MIDWAY CARNIVAL: Lots of fun and rides for the kids.  Rides take 2-4 tickets and tickets cost $1 each or 50 for $40.  The carnival takes place at Kollen Park:  1:00pm - 5:00pm, 5/9 - 5/11 and Noon - 5:00pm on 5/12.

There's a few ideas to get you started, but there's plenty more to see and do.
