If you thought you were spending a lot of money on Thanksgiving dinner this year, think again.

The Old Homestead Steakhouse, a restaurant in New York City, is offering a full Thanksgiving dinner worth $45,000! The meal feeds 8 people so maybe splitting the cost would be a good idea.

The very pricey Thanksgiving dinner is a 7-course-meal that includes all the fixings but with EXTRA touches featuring:

  • Champagne
  • Caviar
  • Truffles
  • Free-range organic turkey with gravy infused with a rare 1951 bottle of bourbon valued at $4,900 per bottle.

Oh yeah, and did I mention the meal also includes a 2-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring??

Co-owner of the steakhouse, Marc Sherry, told the New York Daily News:

Too many guys wing it on Thanksgiving when it comes to popping the question,” says Marc. “They could use a little creativity, so we're planning everything from soup to nuts - and the engagement ring, too."

The most expensive meal of your life also comes with 2 grandstand tickets to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a $7,500 Black Friday shopping spree at Bergdorf Goodman and a two-night stay at the Waldorf Astoria with door-to-door limo service.

Oh but wait, it doesn't end there! You will also get free turkey trimming lessons provided by the Old Homestead.

Last year, 3 parties purchased the Thanksgiving dinner for $35,000 and the restaurant has 2 serious buyers for this year's festivities.

This is likely to be a memorable Thanksgiving for those who have money to blow.
