An unbelievable development is coming out of the national Scrabble Championships in Orlando, Florida. One that has never shook the gaming world like it has today. For the first time ever in the national Scrabble tournament, a contestant was asked (I'll say forced) to withdraw from the contest and escorted out of the building...

FOR CHEATING!

ShortList.com says the young man, who cannot be named for whatever legal reason, allegedly snuck in two blank gaming tiles... or as the pros call them "blanks." Any Scrabble player in the world who is seeking the title of Scrabble champion knows a blank tile is gold in the the word-making industry, duh!

The idiotic cheater accidentally dropped the tiles on the floor. National Scrabble Association John D. Williams Jr. said "cheating has been known to happen but at smaller, regional events and has never happened at national level before." This is something that has taken the Scrabble world by storm and has the Internet Scrabble community in a fit over it.
