The Cascade Black Bear Makes An Appearance On Live TV [Video]

Yesterday morning we heard of reports of a black bear in the area of Kraft Ave. and I-96. Later in the day, FOX 17's Doug Reardon had the bear on the evening news for an interview. Well, the bear wasn't that talkative, but he did make a live appearance. In the middle of the news report, Doug calmly asked the anchors back in the studio if they would like to see the bear. The camera panned to the side and BAM! It's the black bear!

If you see the bear, do not approach it. If you are somehow in a situation where you are close to the bear, make yourself known to the bear and do not run or turn your back to it. Slowly back away and try to find somewhere you can go where the bear cannot enter.
