Grab your timecard, because we're punching out early!  According to an article by WalletHub, this is quite the common saying here in Grand Rapids.  After a recent poll of 150 of the largest cities in America, Grand Rapids ranked number 4 (tied with Madison, Wisconsin) on the list of the cities with the shortest work week.

As someone who works a 40+ hour work week, I want to know why Grand Rapids is considered to have one of the shortest average work weeks in the country.  The article doesn't give an exact amount of hours that the average Grand Rapidian works, but it does also rank the cities that are most stressed out due to work.

In the stress department, Grand Rapids ranks 119th out of the 150 polled cities.  Detroit also shows up on the list as the most stressed city in America.
