The Advantages of Being Short

I get a lot of crap from people for being a shorty. I've heard all the names, the jokes and have even been the involuntary arm rest to some people. But what people don't realize are the advantages to being a short person.

We can easily maneuver around big crowds, we can fit in tight spaces (although I'm claustrophobic), we're pretty good at limbo and the best part is we can contort our bodies to fit into just about any chair and make it comfy :)

So when I read the headline: Gunman runs off when he can't fit into car's driver seat I was intrigued. Upon reading the story, I had an evil grin on my face. A woman in Nebraska, was on her way to work when she was stopped by a not-so-smart car-jacker with a gun. When he attempted to get away he couldn't figure out how to move the seat back, which was too close to the steering wheel since the driver is only 5 feet (YAY! My height!) He eventually ran off and the short mother-of-four prevailed!

One more reason as to why being short rocks.
