All that talk earlier this week about the GOP weighing out asking Kid Rock to run for the Senate in 2018 has gotten an old stand by all worked up.

Yup, Terrible Ted refuses to be ignored, and now he says he may seek out that Senate seat.

We really are moving toward making the film, 'Idiocracy' a reality.

Ted Nugent may be considering a run for the Senate. The rocker recently posted an article to Facebook about trying to unseat Democratic incumbent Debbie Stabenow in Michigan. Nugent wrote that if the GOP doesn't get its act together "I will come charging in as the ultimate we the pissed off people Mr. Fix It constitutional fire breathing candidate from hell!"

When asked if he was serious Nugent responded, "I'm always very interested in making my country and the great state of Michigan great again." Nugent is a resident of Texas, and would have to re-establish residency here to run, but hey, that's just a matter of living on his hunting land near Jackson, isn't it?

Nugent appears to be referencing this blog post in West Michigan Politics, which ran the idea of a Terrible Ted candidacy up the flagpole to see who salutes it.

Nugent appeared and performed at several Donald Trump rallies in Michigan including one in Grand Rapids, but skipped the GOP Convention.
