Tuesday was primary election day in Michigan.
West Michigan voters decided on candidates for state House and Senate, Congress, judges, county commission, and multiple proposals.
Results are in.
The primary election is over so we get a little break from all of the campaigning, but it won't last long.
The primary is very important, but now that we have had time to reflect on the whole thing, it reminds me a little of a kids' soccer game.
When the Michigan primaries were moved up to earlier in the year than they traditionally have been the hope was that it would give Michigan a larger role in the primaries. Mission accomplished. There will be heavy campaigning going on all over the state this weekend.
