According to the LA Times, Mel Gibson swung by an LAPD precinct last night to be fingerpinted and have his mugshot taken after last week's no contest plea to the charges of battery pressed by ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel's new movie, man-puppet love story "The Beaver" premiered at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin the same day.

A poll done by Yahoo's celebrity news website omg! in January has Snooki topping the polls for the least desired celebrity Valentine's date. Are you surprised?

The "Jersey Shore" star had 41 percent of the vote, with the second highest vote getter being Paris Hilton.

Justin Bieber topped the poll for the guys, with about a third of the vote. He beat out the likes of Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson.
