Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Fill the Boot” campaign is underway and firefighters have been out collecting money in intersections across Michigan. At around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the intersection of Jolly and Cedar in Lansing, a driver struck a firefighter after an altercation and then left the scene. The firefighter, 35-year-old Dennis Rodeman passed away due to his injuries.
