Justin Bieber knows all too well that the spirit of the holiday season comes from giving, not getting. That’s why he stopped into Whitney Elementary in Las Vegas to perform his hits and help out less-fortunate kiddos, which was captured in a segment aired on Wednesday’s ‘Ellen.’
Teenage superstars Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith followed up their hit song ‘Never Say Never’ and their cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinking About You’ by offering their fans a “first listen” to a new song dubbed ‘Happy New Year,’ which The Biebs tweeted last night after midnight. He wrote: “thank you for 2011, lets have a better 2012! #happynewyear” and then treated fans to this sonic present.
Justin Bieber was joined by guitarist Carlos Santana on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ last night (Dec. 31.) The fact that The Biebs was playing with a guitar legend like Santana essentially guaranteed that he wouldn’t be playing any of his teen-friendly hits like ‘Baby’ or ‘Never Say Never’ and that was okay.
Bieber actually whispered words of wisdom and performed the Beatles classic ‘Let it Be.’ It was a terrific choice and the teen idol did a great job with this enduring tune.
Justin Bieber filmed his Christmas special for MuchMusic yesterday, Dec. 21, taking the stage in Canada for the taping of ‘Home for the Holidays.’ During the show, the Biebs melted fans’ hearts by bringing his little sister Jazmyn onto the stage for an adorable duet.
Last month, while appearing as a guest on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ Justin Bieber told America that he vowed to match a $100,000 donation by Target to assist Whitney Elementary School in Las Vegas and to provide for the 610 students from low-income families, many of which are homeless.
Until now, Justin Bieber has tried to keep quiet — or at least say very little — about the crazed claims that he’s going to be a dad, as well as his impending paternity suit. But on Wednesday’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,’ Jimmy Fallon took the liberty of putting Bieber baby daddy rumors to rest with a new single, ‘It’s Not My Baby.’
