John Ball Zoo To Offer Two-For-One-Admission & Extended Hours

John Ball Zoo is planning three special days this summer where they will not only stay open two hours later than normal, but will offer two-for-one-admission. Two For Tuesdays will take place once a month this summer, with the first date being Tuesday, June 18,  followed by Tuesday, July 16, and Tuesday, August 20.

Easter Seals Walk With Me Tonight At John Ball Park

A fun, major fund raiser for Easter Seals Michigan is tonight at the John Ball Park Zoo. It's "Walk With Me" and is a nearly 2-mile walk that will wrap around the park and go through the zoo.

It's a wonderful opportunity for donors and supporters to meet the people Easter Seals serve, while taking a nice walk and enjoying the Zoo.

Tigers Are Returning To John Ball Park Zoo

The John Ball Zoological Society announced today they are bringing tigers back to the Grand Rapids zoo in Phase II of the Zoo Society’s Restore the Roar Capital Campaign.

WZZM TV13 reports the projects include the Bill and Bea Idema Foundation Funicular and Forest Realm, the Bissell Tree House, which was announced earlier this year, the new Amur Tiger Exhibit, a new Grizzly Bear Exhibit, Visitor Welcome Center, and a Central Services/Commissary facility.
