'Museums Free 4 All' was announced this morning at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum.  'Museums Free 4 All' will give all visitors free admission to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.

Sound familiar?  I know I'm not alone and that you may have the same dream of owning a horse someday!  For now, I live vicariously through others and either watch the annual Kentucky Derby on television (Animal Kingdom won on Saturday and will race at the Preakness Stakes on May 21st) or ride a wooden version of one on a carousel.

Until five today, you can get a free ride on the Dobbin or Old Paint carousel inside the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

I do too and get a little crazy by either holding my arm out the window while I'm driving down the road, open my sun roof  or simply stand outside with my face directed toward the sun ... it feels sooo good after a long winter inside, doesn't it?!
