They will be celebrating the start of summer in Rockford! You have a couple of choices of where to watch movies this weekend -- along the river or on a ship. We have Baseball and Concerts, along with a Musical. There is a race and an Asian-Pacific Festival. You can help determine who has the best kielbasa in West Michigan, and there are even free bike helmets for the kids.

Not only is it the Festival of the Arts in downtown Grand Rapids this weekend, but there are also a couple of concerts and plays, two different runs, a free dental clinic, a reptile & exotic pet show, and a chance to adopt a dog.

42 Christmas and holiday trees will be on display in addition. There will also be special classes and events for kids and adults.

Don't forget to "Fall Back" this weekend. We officially go back one hour on Sunday morning at 2 am. Along with going around the house to set all your clocks, there are still plenty of other activities in the West Michigan area this weekend.

This morning, Frederik Meijer Gardens announced plans for growth and improvements totaling $115 million. The plans would bring changes and additions throughout Meijer Gardens, including many upgrades to the popular amphitheater.

If you live in Grand Rapids, you likely know how awesome Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park is. There are art and nature exhibits all year long, plus their Summer Concert Series. Frederik Meijer Gardens is being nationally recognized! The park is up for "Best Botanical Garden" in a USA Today and 10Best readers poll.
