Last month, Frederik Meijer Gardens gave us a sneak peek of the acts that would be coming for their annual Summer Concert Series. The first round of acts announced included country act Montgomery Gentry, actor/musician Steve Martin, and the Steve Miller Band. This morning, the Gardens announced to more acts that will be gracing their stage this season.

The Frederik Meijer Gardens Summer Concert Series this season is already proving to be just as diverse as last year's.

I think just about anybody can find a reason to love Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. One of my favorites is the outdoor summer concert series. I also love going with the kids. They would list the outdoor play area among their favorites. You'll notice a common theme here, "outdoors". That's where Frederik Meijer Gardens is at its best and we are not the only ones noticing.

Today, USA Today named Meijer Gardens as one of the top ten places in the nation "to see art enhance nature".

It's going to be a star-studded summer at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Several acts were announced earlier in the year, but just this morning, more were added to the line up.

There will be a record 22 concerts held at the Gardens this summer including, Sara Bareilles, former American Idol Matt Giraud, Pat Benatar and more! Grand Rapids native and Verve Pipe lead singer Brian Vander Ark will also be on stage, opening for actor/singer-songwriter Jeff Daniels
