Police have a man in custody who has admitted to spraying a mixture of hand sanitizer, water, and Tomcat rat poison on food at Ann Arbor grocery stores, Fox 17 reports.Over the weekend, the FBI released photos of a man suspected of spraying some sort of substance at Whole Foods in Ann Arbor.

After a tip from the public, police were able to bring the man into custody.

He's admitted to spraying the liquid at three grocery stores in Ann Arbor: Whole Foods, Meijer, and Plum Market.

Investigators are working to determine whether the suspect targeted other stores.

The State of Michigan and Washtenaw County Health Officials are working together to determine the extent of any contamination and the threat to the public.
