Survey Says Men Should Still Pay For Dates

Sorry fellas, if you were trying to get out of footing the bill, the numbers just don't line up.

I've taken myself out of the dating pool until the numbers start to swing closer to women wanting to pay for the first date, I kid. But according to a survey reported on by the Daily Mail, the numbers are swinging closer to that dream I have.

By the numbers:

70% of men say they should always pay for the date. Even if the date went bad, guys say they should still pay.

48% of women always expect men to pay. Hey! That means more than half expect to pay!

My vote? Guy has to pay for the first date, then it's back and forth after that. I mean come on, we're not made of money!

As for the ideal first date? Both men and women say going out for drinks is best, dinner is second and coffee came in third.
