The City of Irwindale, California has declared the Sriracha Hot Sauce factory a public nuisance due to the spicy odors that come from the factory. Sriracha was given 90 days to make changes so that the surrounding area no longer stinks. Huy Fong Foods, the makers of Sriracha, moved to Irwindale two years ago opening a new $40 million plant in the city of 1,400 residents.  Some of those residents complained that fumes from the grinding of red-hot chili peppers were stinging their eyes and making them cough. As a Sriracha fan, I'm hoping that they are able to figure out how to control the smell so the world can continue to enjoy all that is Sriracha.
