Sorority In Alabama Causes Controversy [Video]

Sororities have plenty of ways to try and recruit new girls to be their sisters when they go to attend their University. A sorority at the University of Alabama, Alpha Phi, thought it would be a good idea to make a video that showed just how nice and fun it is to be a sister in their sorority. However, the response they got was not exactly what they were looking for.

The video below shows the girls of the sorority having fun with each other at their sorority house, on campus, on the football field, and on a lake. It's a pretty fun and light video, so what about it could cause an outrage on the internet? Not only are all the girls beautiful, skinny, and white-skinned, all but three are blondes. This makes it seem as though this sorority could be pretty discriminatory towards anyone not fitting a certain profile.

The video was not up for long online because the negativity it caused was so harsh. It also led to the sorority making their social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, private. Check out the video below and see if you think the outrage was justified.
