Socks For Veterans

Some Young Marines stopped by this morning to tell us about a great cause!

The Young Marines of Grand Rapids are collecting socks for Grand Rapids Home for Veterans due to budget cuts.

They are collecting NEW men's and women's socks.

Young Marines Simkins and Stricklen stopped by to talk about giving back to the men and women who gave so much for us. These Young Marines explained that for some veterans, socks were their only present for the holiday.

So, lets do our small part and drop of some socks at these locations:

- Health Care Associates and Community Care Givers

- Tom's All Season Lawn Care

- Harold Zeigler of Grandville

- Cedar Springs American Legion 

- Rockford American Legion 

- Presto Print on Plainfeild
