A mall in Texas has sparked debate online after posting a note banning any boy over the age of six from using the ladies’ room.

Someone posted a photo of the sign on the Facebook page of the Rio Grande Valley Moms Blog, and the reaction was immediate. Many moms argue that letting a child go into the bathroom alone is unsafe, while others said that as long as parents stand right outside of the restroom there shouldn't be an issue.

On the other side of the coin, there are women who feel uncomfortable with an older male child in the ladies' room. Some stating that older boys will act inappropriately if they aren't being supervised.

What do you think? At what age should boys stop using the women's restroom?
