Here's a great way to earn "jerk of the week."

WOOD-TV 8 reports someone fired shots that hit the LaGrave fire station. Police don't believe Grand Rapids firefighters were targeted, and they're thinking this was a random act.

Police think the shots may have been related to a call they received Tuesday night, of shots fired in the area.

Fire crews discovered the damage Wednesday morning. They say two overhead doors were damaged, along with a second story window. In all they counted three shots.

Firefighters were manning the station when the bullets hit, luckily no one was hurt.

No suspects have been named.
