Sarah McLachlan Admits She Changes the Channel When Her ASPCA Animal Cruelty Commercials Come On

If you're ever up watching TV in the middle of the night, you're probably familiar with Sarah McLachlan's heart-wrenching commercials for the ASPCA. Those things will ruin your day in a heart beat, and it turns out that they have the same effect on the singer herself.

Sarah did one of Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" chats, and one person told her that they had to change the channel when one of her ASPCA commercials come on, because they're so difficult to watch.  And the singer agreed with them.

She said, "I change the channel, too. It's the kitten with the droopy eye, or the three-legged dog, bless them, it kills me."

And that wasn't even her best answer to a question. Her best comment happened when a 12-year-old boy said that his friends make fun of him for liking her music.

Her response? "I think it's wonderful you were listening to my music, and they're not really your friends if they can't support your musical tastes.  Tell 'em [eff] off from me."  (And yes, she actually said the F-word.)
