This has to be one of my favorite weeks of the year! I mean what could better than a 3 course meal for 28 bucks at an amazing restaurant!

Last night I had the pleasure of going to Cork Wine and Grille and let me tell you I left so full it was insane.

For the first course I chose their Goat Cheese Salad (which is one of my favorite salads) it made with Fresh Goat Cheese, Baby Greens, Shaved Fennel, Toasted Walnuts, Sliced Apples, Cider Vinaigrette. I devoured the whole thing, and what I loved is that they did not skimp on the goat cheese --which of course is the best part-- the toasted walnuts also added the perfect smokey flavor that balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the apples and dressing.

Second course I chose was the Summer Risotto it was made with Butternut Squash Risotto, Shaved Prosciutto, Baby Spinach, Sundried Tomatoes, and Shaved Parmesan. The risotto was sooooo cheesy and full of flavor. There was the perfect balance of everything so each bite was filled with amazing flavor.

Third course was of course my favorite because first it was the dessert course and second because it was one of the most unique desserts I have ever had. I chose the Cheddar Apple Pie (yup that's right, cheese and apple pie) it was a Michigan Apple Pie, with Cheddar Cheese, and Vanilla Ice Cream. I know what you're thinking cheese on apple pie is probably gross but it definitely was not. The best way I can explain it was it was like a cheese tray in pie form. The cheese was melted on to the crust and the apple pie itself  was not super sweet so the cheese was the perfect balance. You guys this is a must try!!!
