Rockford Police and Michigan State Police officers are both currently on the scene investigating a bomb threat that was called into the post office in Rockford Friday afternoon.

The initial call came in at around 12:49 p.m. at the post office located at 57 Courtland St., according to Rockford Police.

The building was evacuated, and the Michigan State Police K9 units were called in to help with the search of the building.

No injuries have been reported.
