When you live far away from your friends one way to keep in touch is to text while watching the same television show. My girl Heather and I really had a lot to say Saturday night as we were both staring at Lifetime's "Drew Peterson: Untouchable". Mostly, "There is not any possible way that can be Rob Lowe" and "He's so super creeps my skin is falling off." If you thought there was not a way to make Rob Lowe un-sexy, think again.

Lowe plays Drew Peterson, a former Illinois police sergent who is currently awaiting trial in the death of his third wife Kathleen Savio and is also the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy Peterson. Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory stars as Stacy.

Now, the story in and of itself is creepy enough. Peterson's third wife was found dead in the bath tub and the fourth one just up and dissappeared. Lots of mystery, lots of unanswered questions-- But what's also disturbing is Drew Peterson himself, or I should say, Lowe's portrayal of Peterson.

Lowe is pretty much unrecognizable: totally gray, bushy mustache, permanent squint. Oh and also,  he talks funny.  I wanted to see if the real Drew Peterson was also this weird and creepy, so I did a little research. Check out the clips below-- the first is Lowe as Peterson, the second the murder suspect himself.

Here is the actual footage of Peterson on Larry King Live.

My verdict? Both super creepy. What do you think of Lowe's portrayal?

To catch the full  "Drew Peterson: Untouchable", Lifetime is showing an encore presentation this Saturday, January 28th at 6pm. I'd suggest DVR-ing it so you can pause to scream and text all your friends.
