‘Puttin’ On The Green’ Party Is Saturday In Grand Rapids

Good things, like St. Patrick's Day parties, come to those who wait.  But occasionally we get sick of waiting.  Why not just have an Irish party this weekend?

Enter...Puttin' On The Green.

Puttin' On The Green is run by St. Adalbert's Aid Society.  The party will take place at Fifth Street Hall on Saturday, February 24, from 3:30pm to 12:30am.

Nothing wrong with a little practice in anticipation of March 17.  Plus, it gives us a chance to make sure our green St. Patrick's Day clothes from last year still fit.

Food includes bangers and mash, and there will be no shortage of drinks.  There's Irish Step Dancing at 4:00pm and 6:30pm, plus live music from Craic Wisely, Gasta, and String Cheese.  Suggested donation is $10.  No charge 15 and under.

This latest snowstorm has kind of ruined our "it's spring in February" buzz.  Let's get that springtime feeling back tomorrow at Puttin' On The Green!
